January and February: What was Elvis Presley's favorite soft drink? How many languages did Cleopatra speak? If you love trivia, then you'll love The Virginia Bazaar's Trivia Game! Each weekend in January and February lucky shoppers will win a chance to spin the wheel for vendor door prizes and Market Money by correctly answering a trivia question. Listen for questions while shopping for items that can only be found at The Virginia Bazaar.
April: April 3 the Easter Bunny will be shopping at The Virginia Bazaar. He'll also be hiding hundreds of treasure-filled eggs! Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is for children 12 years old and younger. The hunt begins at 1:00 pm. Get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny himself---it's free!May: May 15 and 16 we will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary! On Saturday, May 15, Car Show enthusiasts can check out all sorts of cool cars from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Register your car to show for $20 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Dash plaques will be given for the first 50 entries, and trophies will be awarded for the Top Twenty and Best In Show. You can listen to the cool tunes from Southern Blues and The Recliner Cats from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm while checking out the cars and doing some great shopping!
Sunday, May 16, we will welcome back our favorite Blue Grass Bands, Homeward Bound and New Generation from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you haven't listened to these folks, you'd better not miss this chance!
And, as always, we will be clowning around with Pop-O and his amazing Wonder Dog Buddy all weekend! Plus, two lucky shoppers will win $125 in Market Money each day. Market Money is good with any vendor at the Bazaar.
October: Ghouls and goblins will have a chance to win Halloween Market Money at our annual Kids In Costumes day on October 30. We'll give raffle tickets to every child in costume, giving them a chance to win Virginia Bazaar Monster Money! Kids may "Trick and Treat" within the safe environment of The Bazaar at participating vendors.
December: The Bazaar will have a special visitor in December! Come see Santa Claus from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm every Saturday and Sunday prior to Christmas and get your picture taken for free!
