January and February: What was Elvis Presley's favorite soft drink? What make of car is the Quattro? George W. has how many brothers and sisters? If you love trivia, then you'll love The Virginia Bazaar's Trivia Game! Each weekend in January and February lucky shoppers will win a chance to spin the wheel for vendor door prizes and Market Money by correctly answering a trivia question. Listen for questions while shopping for items that can only be found at The Virginia Bazaar.
March: March 22 the Easter Bunny will be shopping at The Virginia Bazaar. He'll also be hiding hundreds of treasure-filled eggs! Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is for children 12 years old and younger. The hunt begins at 1:00 pm. Get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny himself---it's free!
April: Come add to your collection of sports memorabilia or start a new one at the Sports Cards and Collectible Show on April 26 and 27. Autograph guests are former Redskins greats Perry Brooks from 12-2 on April 26 and Mike Bragg from 12-2 on April 27. For more information on the show contact Wayne Kennedy at (804) 761-3314.
May: May 17 and 18 we will be celebrating our 8th Anniversary! We'll have Exotic Animal Adventures on Saturday, Blue Grass bands on Sunday, fire engines, Pop-O the Clown, and door prizes! Great fun for the whole family!
June: June 7 is the date for the 3rd Annual Virginia Bazaar Car Show! Come see antique cars, classic cars and trucks, street rods and customs, muscle cars and cars in progress. Set up time is 8:00 am to 10:00 am, with dash plaques for the first 25 cars. Pre-registration is $10 and $15 on day of show. All cars and trucks must be 1983 models or older. Trophies will be awarded at 3:00 pm. For more information please contact Rod Gray at (540) 408-2090 or Sam Martin (804) 769-4041. All entry proceeds go to benefit the Caroline County Sheriff's Department Dare/Explorer Program. Rain date is June 8.
July: What would July be with The Virginia Bazaar's Blue Christmas in July and Elvis? Our favorite Elvis tribute artist, Joe Searles, will be rockin' around The Bazaar on July 19 and 20. Don't miss this fun annual event! The Caroline County Agricultural Fair will be on The Virginia Bazaar grounds July 24-27. October: Ghouls and goblins will have a chance to win Halloween Market Money at our annual Kids In Costumes day on October 25. We'll give raffle tickets to every child in costume, giving them a chance to win Virginia Bazaar Monster Money! Kids may "Trick and Treat" within the safe environment of The Bazaar at participating vendors.
December: The Bazaar will have a special visitor in December! Come see Santa Claus from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm every Saturday and Sunday prior to Christmas and get your picture taken for free!
