January and February: What was Elvis Presley's favorite soft drink? How many languages did Cleopatra speak? If you love trivia, then you'll love The Virginia Bazaar's Trivia Game! Each weekend in January and February lucky shoppers will win a chance to spin the wheel for vendor door prizes and Market Money by correctly answering a trivia question. Listen for questions while shopping for items that can only be found at The Virginia Bazaar.
Grab a valentine gift for your sweetie at the Valentine Sports Card & Memorabilia Show on February 7 & 8. Autograph guest on Saturday, February 7 is one of the 70 Greatest Redskins, Donnie Warren from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. On Sunday, February 8, we'll have Tre Johnson, another great former Redskin from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.April: April 11 the Easter Bunny will be shopping at The Virginia Bazaar. He'll also be hiding hundreds of treasure-filled eggs! Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is for children 12 years old and younger. The hunt begins at 1:00 pm. Get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny himself---it's free!
May: May 2, The Rotary Club of Caroline will be sponsoring a beer and wine festival from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. For specific information on this event, contact Grapes of Taste Wine Shop at (804) 448-8008 or email kay@grapesoftaste.com. May 16 and 17 we will be celebrating our 9th Anniversary! We'll have a Virginia Bazaar's Got Talent Show on May 16th, and Blue Grass Bands on May 17th! For details on our Talent Show, click on Market News. Join us on Memorial Day weekend for the Sports Card & Memorabilia Show. Autograph guests are Andre Collins (Former Redskins) on May 23 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and Phil Chenier (Former Washington Bullets) on May 24 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
July: What would July be with The Virginia Bazaar's Blue Christmas in July and Elvis? Our favorite Elvis tribute artist, Joe Searles, will be rockin' around The Bazaar on July 25 and 26. Don't miss this fun annual event!
September: Get some rhythm and blues at Dreamworks Labor Day concert on September 5th featuring Mel Waiters and Marvin Sease. Details will follow, so check back for updates!
October: Ghouls and goblins will have a chance to win Halloween Market Money at our annual Kids In Costumes day on October 31. We'll give raffle tickets to every child in costume, giving them a chance to win Virginia Bazaar Monster Money! Kids may "Trick and Treat" within the safe environment of The Bazaar at participating vendors.
November: Thanksgiving Weekend Sports Cards and Collectible Show on November 28 & 29. Autograph guests to be announced.
December: The Bazaar will have a special visitor in December! Come see Santa Claus from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm every Saturday and Sunday prior to Christmas and get your picture taken for free!
